Anna and Justin's visit

As I mentioned in a previous post, my sister and her husband came out for the baptism- therefore staying for the extended weekend! We had a nice time catching up and spending time together. The kids always enjoy their time with their aunt and uncle!

For Jonathan's birthday, Auntie Anna and Uncle Justin gave him some "big boy" legos (a.k.a. the tiny legos). It's a really neat set with a bulldozer and another working machine- which went perfectly with the construction site lego set that my parents gave him. Uncle Justin and Jonathan had a grand time putting it together then playing with them:Another birthday gift was a soccer/hockey/lacrosse goal and accessories. Again, much fun was had with it:

Chocolate Pudding

The other day I decided to make the kids some chocolate pudding, entailing their assistance. They had a wonderful time stirring and, of course, licking the utentils afterwards! They are becoming fairly proficient in the kitchen; often times it's fun to have them help. (I did also decide that day, that if I am going to stand there for 5 mintues stirring, then it is MUCH BETTER to make homemade pudding instead of from a box... it takes just as much time and tastes WAY better.)

One month down

It has been a little over a month since little Abby has graced us with her presence. So far everything is going smoothly and we are glad that she is here! Abby continues to be an easy baby, of which we are grateful. Life in the Kuetemeyer household is good, just more busy these days.

Abby's Baptism

On Saturday Abby was baptized! We were honored to have my dad perform another baptism for another one of our children. As in the past, he did a wonderful job! My sister, Anna, and her husband, Justin, accepted the role of being her godparents, and flew in from Saint Louis for the occasion. After the ceremony we had a party, there at the church, with family and friends. It was a joyful day! Anna and Abby waiting for the festivities to begin

Rosie and Terry, Jonathan's godparents, drove all the way from Colorado Springs to celebrate with us. They have yet to miss a Kuetemeyer or Waller baptism!

Jonathan's Birthday Night

After playing at the park and taking a good nap, Jonathan decided to watch another movie, Cars. Then, the rest of the fam arrived for a birthday dinner, cake and gift opening. Jonathan's 4th Birthday Day

It's true, Jonathan turned 4 years old on Friday! He had been looking forward to his birthday for well over a month. Everyday he asked how many days left until his birthday... my mom was brillant and suggested (and made) a countdown sheet.

The day began with multiple options of sugared cereals (you know those little boxes of Cococa Puffs and Frosted Flakes?!) and some of his birthday presents. After that he chose to watch Toy Story 3- compliments of Aunt Amy (which was a real treat, as I don't normally let them watch movies during the week nor tv in the mornings). After the movie, we picked up some chick-fil-a chicken nuggets and headed to the park. It was a bit brisk (a mere 45 degrees) but the sun was shining. We had a "picnic" and played at the park for quite some time.
