Craft Stick boxes

As we were waiting for the popsicles to freeze we made these "craft stick boxes" (this idea also came from Highlights magazine). We made as much of them as we could... it turned out that I didn't buy enough sticks. But, Jonthan and Catherine still had fun using glue and stickers.

Homemade popsicles

The other day Jonathan wanted to make some homemade popsicles! Fun idea! We had a great time making them...

The first lick was enjoyed by both of them... but after that they didn't like 'em. I was a little skeptical with the recipe that we used (from Highlights magazine). So, we will give it another try in a few days.

Here are some recent pictures of Abby just hanging out. She has recently really started grabbing at things, holding them and putting them into her mouth. (Jonathan and Catherine think that it's hilarious!) Yup, and I she still has that red hair. :-)

Masks

On Monday morning Jonathan was dying to make a scary monster mask! After working on laundry for a bit, I agreed... Jonathan, Catherine and and I all sat down and had a blast! The only part that I did was cut out eyes and attach rubber bands. They did the gluing, taping, coloring and any other cutting they wanted to:

Fun with the camera

Jonathan and Catherine were excited to take pictures the other day... their desire was pretty cute. The pictures didn't turn out great- but everyone had fun!Catherine was pouting because she didn't have the camera at that exact moment

Easter pictures

As a Catholic, we are technically still celebrating Easter (the Catholic Church celebrates Easter for 50 days)- though the season is coming to a close this Sunday. So, I don't feel any guilt posting these pictures of Easter Sunday and egg hunting! he he

The kids had a grand time looking for eggs, opening some gifts and eating lots and lots and lots of chocolate!

Seriously, I expect this sort of look while I'm taking a picture of Jonathan when he's 13... not when he's 4 and eating TONS of chocolate!

Abby at 4 months

Yes, it's true that Abby is now 4 months old! The time flies- but it flies with good times and great memories. Jonathan and Catherine continue to adore her and give her all the attention she deserves. I finally feel like I am getting a handle on a schedule and learning to juggle things with three kiddos a bit better...

When I took her in for her well-child doctor's visit these were her stats:
weight: 14lbs 2oz (50th percentile)
length: 26 inches (90th percentile)

I was a little anxious before she was born about clothes- since Catherine was born on an opposite season- but she is as big as Catherine was when she was 9 months old. So, Catherine's old clothes are working out! YEAH!
