The WOW Museum

On Catherine's actual birthday, Monday, we visited the WOW (World of Wonder) Children's Museum. Chris had off work so we went as a family! We had a great time playing and letting the kiddos explore.Catherine playing with some newly cleaned blocks

Since our trip back to Illinois, Jonathan has been fascinated with trains. The museum had a couple of different train tables that he thoroughly enjoyed.

One of the "exhibits" was a credit union. In front of the teller window was a truck that moved when a coin was inserted. Jonathan and Catherine could have ridden it all day!

Happy 1st Birthday, Catherine!

Yes, it is true that Catherine is now 1 year old! We celebrated the gift of her life on both Sunday and Monday. My family came over on Sunday afternoon for a BBQ. We had a relaxing time eating, watching the kids play together, opening gifts and then watching the kids fight over who was going to play with what toy! he he

Chris had off on Monday, so we were able to visit a little children's museum (pictures to come) as a family.

We are truly blessed to have her in our lives! We love you, Catherine! Happy Birthday.

She weighs in at 16lb 12oz (she has not made the chart, yet) and measures 29in long (50th percentile)

Colorado Springs

Last week Chris was out of town... so I headed down to Colorado Springs for some help with the kiddos. We had a blast playing with Grammy and Granddaddy!!

My dad pulled out his rocking horse, from when he was a kid. My siblings and I also the rode the horse when we were little. Now, Catherine and Jonathan can have some fun with it!

We also visited the playsite at Focus on the Family, a nondenominational organization- which are headquartered in Colorado Springs. The kids had a blast climbing, sliding and exploring.

Grandaddy ALWAYS has fun playing with both Jonathan and Catherine. This time around they had a grand time playing with the little people and their house and school.
