40 Weeks!

Well, this is the week that Baby K #2 is supposed to arrive! The past 9 months have just flown by. We will keep you posted when our little daughter is born with pictures and updates. Until then, we are depending on your prayers.

I am feeling good, just the normal "9 months of pregnancy tiredness."

Eating yogurt

WOW! It is hard to believe that Jonathan is now 16 months! Every month gets more and more exciting as he develops and learns. It has been a joy to have him in our lives.

The other day he was pretty adament about using the spoon to eat yogurt all on his own. So, I let him do it. He did a pretty good job... there isn't too much on his face and none on the floor! he he

Looong Time No Post!

Hello family and friends!

It has been quite awhile since I have posted anything, time just keeps slipping away from me. We are a week out from our due date (July 4th) and still working on finishing our basement (pictures to come). he he We had some dear friends come up on Saturday to help us paint it- which made it feel even more like a room. We will have carpet installed sometime in the next few days, hopefully. Then, the doors will go up. Viola! We will, then, be finished! YEAH! I have confidence that it will all be finished before baby #2 arrives.

The baby nursery is coming along... we are just needing some diapers and we will be all set.

I am feeling great! I am a little nervous to have another little one around, but I just need to trust that God will give me the grace that I need to love and care for our daughter and Jonathan.

Your prayers and friendship are so much appreciated.

Garage Saleing

Anyone who knows me well, knows that I am not a big fan of garage sales... why?? I am not sure. Maybe it just takes too much work. Or maybe that it's I never really find what I like or what I am looking for. Never the less, over the course of the last several months I have really been working at trying to like them. Used toys and clothes are SO MUCH cheaper at garage sales and second hand stores.

This past weekend our neighborhood had a community garage sale. My friend, Catherine, and I went out for an hour or two looking for some good kiddie toys and clothes.... and do you suppose I had any sort of luck?? I found GREAT things for really cheap: summer clothes, little table and chairs for Joanthan and this ADORABLE rocking truck! It is solid oak wood, excellent condition and perfect for Jonathan. For the price of $5!!

It turns out that I could like garage saleing after all. (how does one spelling "garage saleing" anyway???)
