FOCUS playdate

There have been several other FOCUS families moving into our neck of the woods, and luckily all of the women are stay at home moms like me. So, today I hosted several of the moms and their kiddos for a playdate and lunch. We had a GRAND time. There were 7 mommies and 13 kiddos (under the age of 4)! All the kids played so well together.

Here are all the little ones, minus two. (Jonathan is in the middle)

There is a benefit to having a 19 pound 18 month old... he loves Catherine's baby toys (like the swing and exersauser). But, I don't have to worry about him breaking them because he is so light! he he

Our First Trip to the Zoo

We decided last Sunday that we would take Jonathan and Catherine to the zoo... and what fun we had! Jonathan eyes lit up with every animal he saw- he especially liked the elephant, bears and giraffes (just like his mom... I LOVED to feed the giraffes when I was little). We are looking forward to going back in the future.

Catherine is now 2 months old! Time sure flies when you are having fun. She is sleeping great at night- she will give us about 5-6 hours of continuous sleep! YEAH! We are excited to introduce her to Chris's side of the family and some friends at the end of the month... as we will be travling to Indiana for a wedding, and will make a pit stop in Illinois for some family time. We are looking forward to the trip! Though, it will be interesting flying with two little kiddos. :-)
